Disqualification Rule

Candidates with criminal record or found guilty of misconduct are liable to be disqualified at any stage.

Important Warnings

BPSC has no negative marking in Prelims — attempt all 150 questions.
Bihar-specific GK is heavily tested — history of Magadh, Champaran Satyagraha, JP Movement, Bihar geography, economy, culture.
General Hindi is a qualifying paper in Mains (30% minimum) but marks are not added to merit.
No limit on number of attempts — only age limit applies.
Bihar domicile is essential for reservation benefits.
BPSC exams have historically faced delays — patience is required.
Interview carries 120 marks — significant weightage in final merit.
