Shortlisting & Merit Rules
Prelims To Mains
Category-wise shortlisting from Prelims. Adequate number of candidates shortlisted for Mains based on vacancies.
Final Merit Basis
Mains (80%) + Interview (20%) combined score. Mains score includes both Objective and Descriptive test marks.
Mains To Interview
Candidates are shortlisted for interview based on Mains score in the ratio of approximately 1:3 to vacancies.
Provisional Allotment
Based on final merit, candidates are allotted to participating banks as per their preference and availability of vacancies.

Scribe Requirements
- • Scribe should be from an academic stream different from that of the candidate
- • Scribe should have obtained less marks than the candidate in their own graduation/equivalent exam
- • Scribe can be from any academic discipline
- • The same scribe cannot be used by more than one candidate
- • Both the candidate and the scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking

Disqualification Rule
A candidate who has been debarred by IBPS or any bank from appearing in any examination/recruitment shall not be eligible for the current CRP. Similarly, any candidate found guilty of misconduct may be debarred from future exams.
