Scribe Requirements

  • Scribe should be from an academic stream different from that of the candidate

Public Disclosure Policy

Disqualification Rule

A candidate who has been debarred by SBI from appearing in any examination/recruitment shall not be eligible. Candidates found guilty of misconduct may be debarred from future exams.

Important Warnings

Candidates should ensure they fulfil the eligibility criteria as on the date specified. Admission at all stages is purely provisional.
There is NO interview for SBI Clerk recruitment. Final merit is based solely on Mains performance.
Candidates must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) if they have not studied the local language up to 10th standard.
Candidates can apply for vacancies in only ONE State/UT. Choose wisely as it cannot be changed later.
Selected candidates must serve at the allotted branch/office for a minimum period. Transfer requests during probation are not entertained.
SBI Clerk in-hand salary (~₹46,000) is higher than IBPS Clerk due to SBI's additional allowances and perks.
Candidates serving in Government/PSU/Bank must produce proper discharge/NOC at the time of joining.
Any attempt to use unfair means will result in debarment from all future SBI examinations.
Decision of SBI in all matters relating to recruitment will be final and binding.
